Doctor Who has won the BAFTA Cymru award for “Special and Visual Effects, Titles and Graphics” for the Series Nine opener “The Magician’s Apprentice”.

Real SFX produced the Special Effects and Milk VFX did the Visual Effects work on the episode.  These names might sound familiar to you because they both won for their work on the 50th anniversary story “The Day of the Doctor”.

The BAFTA Cymru awards excellence in broadcasting and production within film and television in Wales.  The winners were announced yesterday.
